Join me as I visit Rome, take a short side trip to Spain, and then stay for seven weeks in the small town of Praiano high above the famous Amalfi Coast. I don't speak Italian so it should be interesting. Andiamo! (Let's go)

Where Have I Been?
I have been traveling since January 15, mainly staying in Rome where two of my children are currently studying. In that time I also took a week trip to the Costa del Sol in Spain with my daughter, and a small side trip to Padua and Venice with both of my children. I am now ensconced in Casa Faraglioni in the town of Priano where I have been since April 26th. I will be updating this blog from here. From time to time I will reference my experiences in Rome and Spain, so this blog will not always be in chronological order nor updated on a daily basis. My intention for coming to Praiano is twofold. First, a dream of mine has always been to experience life in a small town in a foreign counrty and culture, a sort of Bucket List reason. And second, to spend time isolated from daily distractions and demands so I can concentrate on spititual meditating, praying and writing. So don't be surprised if that creeps into my writing. These photos show the stairs I have to climb anytime I want to go anywhere. 127 steps. Dreams do not come without a price.
